In the third quarter of 2024, the landscape of dining and restaurant apps on iOS in Latin America showed varied performance across different metrics. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing insights into the download and active user trends of the top five apps in this category.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery, published by Arcos Dorados Latin America, experienced fluctuating download numbers. Weekly downloads started at around 98K in early July, peaked at approximately 121K by mid-August, and then decreased to about 88K by the end of September. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, starting at over 708K and ending the quarter with around 713K.

Burger King Brasil saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads from about 42K at the beginning of July to 29K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, beginning with approximately 158K and fluctuating throughout the quarter before ending at 162K.

Starbucks México had a notable spike in downloads, particularly in the week starting September 2, reaching around 24K. The app's weekly active users also saw an increase, peaking at over 216K in the same week, before stabilizing at 190K by the end of the quarter.

Domino's Pizza México demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory in weekly downloads, starting at 11K and rising to 14K by mid-September. Active users similarly increased, beginning at 46K and closing the quarter at 51K.

Lastly, Habib's showed a steady pattern in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 8K and 12K, while active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with approximately 38K.
